In pursuit of the GROWTH of our businesses and improving our life and the lives of our TEAM MEMBERS, I think we have to look beyond the individual components of what to improve or work on. I think we need to start with being more self-aware and more intentional about EVERYTHING we do.
When I start off my day organized and follow the calendar plan I created it just FLOWS so much more smoothly. I love a great checklist! I get so much satisfaction checking off each box, updating my calendar, making new entries on future weeks and being intensely thoughtful (and realistic) when planning.
I am vowing to:
- Create a detailed calendar of intention
- Follow the reminders I’ve set on my watch so I remain on time
- Update as needed
- Forgive myself when things pop up (there are still going to be to put out)
Our approach, our attitude and our habits at home mirror how we behave at work and vice-versa. How we tackle small tasks or challenges in daily life reflects our overall commitment to excellence. For instance, someone who pays attention to detail in routine chores is likely to bring the same meticulousness to professional projects or personal goals. This consistency forms the backbone of reliability and trustworthiness in both personal and professional relationships. Keeping this top of mind is just as important for who we hire and “hang with” as it will influence us and our business success. This mindset speaks to “INTEGRITY” which is WHOLE’s most important core value. Individuals who prioritize honesty, respect, and diligence consistently demonstrate these values across all aspects of life. Conversely, ethical lapses or shortcuts in minor matters may indicate potential compromises in more critical situations.
In leadership roles, understanding “How you do anything is how you do everything” can enhance effectiveness. Leaders who model integrity, accountability, and dedication in everyday interactions inspire trust and loyalty among team members. Similarly, in relationships, consistent communication, empathy, and support create a foundation of mutual respect and understanding.
We need to be better at:
- Consistency: The Backbone of Success
- Integrity: The Cornerstone of Leadership and Team Dynamic
- Understanding the Impact of Hiring Correctly and the Importance of Team Culture
- Self-awareness!
- Demonstrating Integrity in EVERYTHING WE DO
